MORE Using Black in Food Packaging
I remember my old post on using black as a color in food packaging was so well received, that I wanted to do another post of more surprisingly beautiful packages. It's also kinda neat to observe how black goes in and out of fashion- i guess so does white. They all have their own shelf-life. But one thing is sure, adding black to food packaging makes it exquisite, gourmet and upscale.
Oh, and if you're curious about the first post on black in food packaging, please click here.

2011 Holiday Window Display & Merchandising in NYC!
The most fabulous merchandisers in the industry start with plans and sketches months before unveiling. What results is an empty box that's transformed into a winter wonderland... with themes from couture to winter animals, no detail is spared.
Enjoy these amazing window displays! Bergdorf is my favourite... share and tell what's your fav...

Infographics Mania
In various magazines you will see an elaborate spread (2 pages facing eachother) of colourful graphics and facts. Infographics take a lot of time to conceptualize and design. It is full of detail and wonder. Below are some stunning examples taken from a pool in Flickr. Enjoy!

Packaging Design of English Foods (Biscuits...yummmm)
Almost everyday I indulge in McVities Digestive biscuits with milk. I know, I am 12 (actually, i'm a lot older lol). There is something about dipping those biscuits in milk and letting the days troubles slip away (OMG, now I sound OLD lol). So, when I stopped off in Heathrow a few months ago I must have landed in heaven because I saw all these beautiful packaging designs for english foods, especially the biscuit tins! I love their use of themes and elements from the past and their use of colour. Enjoy!

A Designer's Home Office
FINALLY I have my own space to conduct meetings and design in. It's not completely ready as I am always looking for personal wall art and small touches, but it's a presentable place for now and I've already had 2 meetings! Just to welcome my clients I keep a fridge stocked with iced tea and drinking water bottles. My candle from Anthropologie is lit 30 mins before they arrive and I keep soft, light classical music in the background. Both meetings have been excellent. I can't wait to add to my collection of finds for the office.

A Home Office for the Clients
As much as I love my current place, I'd love even more to have more ROOM... more room to work in, to exercise in, to do my laundry in, and more room so I can decorate it and meet my clients in my home office instead of a coffee shop. I want a space that is client-proud! Something that will wow them. And I am already gathering my ideas...
